Green Tea Extract
High-Dose EGCG

The tea leaves used for our decaffeinated and highly concentrated green tea extract are grown without pesticides in the remote Chinese province of Zhejiang, 400m above sea level. There, the plants thrive under optimal climatic conditions. The leaves contain an outstanding 96% EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). The tea leaves are harvested only once per year, when they are particularly rich in valuable catechins.

Our concentrated, decaffeinated green tea extract is made from premium, 100% pesticide-free green tea (Camellia sinensis) leaves, derived via a highly pure water extraction process. No toxic solvents are used in this process, so our extract is completely free from harmful extraction residues. The water is not used for any other extractions. This results in a particularly pure extract with 99% polyphenols and an EGCG content of 96%. The extraction process also involves decaffeination, which reduces the caffeine content in the extract to less than 0.1%.

Each capsule contains an additional 150mg vitamin C by PureWay-C®, which achieves significantly higher absorption than conventional vitamin C preparations due to its citrus bioflavonoid complex and coating of plant-bsed fatty acids. Due to the coating, the vitamin C can be better absorbed into the blood and the cells and has a long retention time. Additionally, it is well tolerated by the stomach. The coating also allows for a longer shelf-life and protection against oxidation.

Each capsule additionally contains 19mg plant-based quercetin, extracted from blossoms of the Japanese pagoda tree (Sophora japonica), with a quercetin content of at least 95%. We therefore avoid the use of synthetic quercetin, which has low bioavailability. Our water-only extraction process eliminates the use of chemical solvents and extraction residues.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We package this product in amber glass jars instead of plastic to protect the ingredients from light.
