Our Glutathione Complex + Precursors delivers glutathione through two complementary pathways: by directly supplying two highly bioavailable forms of glutathione, alongside all relevant precursors and cofactors. The included vitamins C and B2, as well as selenium, act as vital partners to glutathione, helping to protect cells from oxidative stress and supporting normal immune system function.

By combining S-acetyl-L-glutathione with liposomal glutathione, the complex utilises two parallel transport routes: S-acetyl-L-glutathione is an active, acetylated form of glutathione. The acetyl group protects the glutathione from breakdown in the stomach, ensuring it is absorbed intact for exceptionally high bioavailability, even at the cellular level. This is complemented by fine liposomal glutathione powder, protectively embedded in a plant-based matrix of phospholipids and waxes. This specialised technology enables acid-stable gastric passage, optimised distribution in the blood plasma, and exceptionally effective uptake across cellular lipid bilayers.

Alongside direct glutathione supply, the formula provides all key building blocks for the body's own glutathione tripeptide: the amino acids N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC), L-glutamine and glycine. These high-purity, vegan amino acids are obtained exclusively from plant sources via maize fermentation.

The matrix is enriched with cofactors such as taurine and molybdenum, which play crucial roles in sulphur metabolism. Taurine shares a central synthesis pathway with glutathione, meaning direct taurine provision frees up valuable resources for glutathione synthesis. Molybdenum helps prevent sulphite accumulation, effectively easing the burden on the body's glutathione stores.

To support the entire redox system, the formula features additional key partners to glutathione: vitamin C as highly tolerable, acid-buffered calcium ascorbate, and the stabilised R-form of alpha-lipoic acid as Na-RALA in a specialised sodium salt structure—offering a proven 21-times higher peak plasma concentration compared to standard R-lipoic acid. Active coenzyme vitamin B2 (Riboflavin 5′-Phosphate Sodium) and organic selenomethionine complete the formula.

In line with our True Clean Label philosophy, the entire complex is vegan, guaranteed non-GMO, and free from silicon dioxide and nanoparticles. It is produced to the highest purity standards without the use of harsh extraction solvents such as methanol, acetone or n-hexane.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG.
