Our Flamm Botanicals Complex is a compact functional blend that combines concentrated botanical extracts with highly bioavailable vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal cartilage function and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

The foundation is formed by premium phytochemicals: we rely on the botanical power duo of a highly concentrated 67:1 turmeric root extract and a 13:1 extract from Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata). This foundation is complemented by the finest ginger root extract (10:1). Since ginger and turmeric belong to the same botanical family of ginger plants (Zingiberaceae), their bioactive pungent and bitter substances traditionally complement each other. Turmeric is also combined with a 40:1 black pepper extract (95% piperine) as a cofactor of sorts.

The precise, laboratory-tested standardisation of the ingredients is particularly important to us: 95% curcuminoids, 85% boswellic acids (including 20% AKBA) and 5% gingerols. The extraction is carried out individually and as gently as possible for each raw material (such as solvent-free vacuum drying for ginger or supercritical fluid extraction for pepper) to ensure the preservation of the heat-sensitive active ingredients.

The formulation is rounded off with pure clove bud oil, which acts as a natural catalyst for nutrient-dense spice extracts due to its specific profile. To safely preserve the valuable, volatile essential oils, it is professionally microencapsulated in a natural protective shell of yeast and gum arabic. For vitamin C, we have chosen the clinically tested branded raw material PureWay-C®: this unique complex of microencapsulated vitamin C, citrus bioflavonoids and plant-based fatty acids is characterised by efficient absorption.

All the ingredients have been laboratory-tested and are 100% vegan and free from genetic engineering. We consistently avoid unnecessary additives.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We package this product in amber glass jars instead of plastic to protect the ingredients from light.
