How are we different?

Our pure Bromelain 3600 enzyme is extracted from the stems of hand-harvested Indian pineapple fruits (Ananas comosus) and has a particularly high enzyme activity of at least 6000 FIP U (Fédération Internationale Pharmaceutique Unit) per gram. The enzyme is extracted using only water in a special process in which it undergoes successive filtration steps before finally being spray-dried.

We use patented, gastric acid-resistant HPMC capsules (DRcaps®) as capsule shells.

Effects

Bromelain is a name for a group of protein-degrading enzymes from plants of the genus Bromeliaceae. It is found in particularly high concentrations in the stem and fruit of the pineapple plant (Ananas comosus). As proteases, they help to break down proteins and support the plant in its defence against insects and other pests.

Dosage

Directions

Take 1 capsule on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 3 hours after eating) with 200ml of cold water daily.
