Yoga Nidra is traditionally referred to as "yogic sleep" – a state of consciousness in which the body is at complete rest while the mind remains present. Our Yoga Nidra series is inspired by traditional essences associated with this centuries-old practice, intentionally combining the tradition of ancient aromatic rituals with the demands of modern practice.
This aroma roll-on, made from 100% natural essential oils, accompanies personal rituals, moments of mindfulness and meditation and yoga with warm, resinous and harmoniously balanced scent nuances. It creates a special olfactory atmosphere for your practice – in the studio, at home or on the go.
At its core is a combination of sacred Palo Santo wood and Somali myrrh that create a distinctive fragrance signature. The warmth of balsamic sandalwood lends the composition depth and harmony, while vetiver rounds off the aromatic profile with its earthy nuances. Clary sage and true lavender complement the blend with their herbaceous-floral notes, shaping its overall character.
Also known as "holy wood," wild Palo Santo has been used for centuries in South American ceremonies. Its essential oil blends harmoniously with the spicy-resinous, subtly sweet aroma of wild-harvested Somali myrrh and the creamy-warm notes of the deadwood of the wild-growing Australian sandalwood tree. Vetiver oil provides a deep, earthy finish; this oil has been obtained via gentle steam distillation from organic cultivation in Madagascar, whose coastal climate gives the deep-rooted grass its characteristic aroma.
The creamy, balsamic oil of the wild-grown Amazonian copaiba tree, obtained via fractional distillation, blends harmoniously into the formulation, lending it depth and longevity. It forms the base for the delicate notes of herbaceous, floral clary sage from the French Drôme Provençale and flowery, fresh true lavender from the sunny heart of Spain – both carefully derived from certified organic sources. This creation is complemented by aromatic tonka bean absolute from Brazil, which elegantly rounds off the blend with its delicate, sweet vanilla scent profile.
