Natural Vitamin D3
Our Sunferol® D3 Vegan is sourced from pine trees. The pine oil is sustainably obtained as a byproduct of forestry (bark, branches), meaning that pine trees do not need to be cultivated or felled specifically for vitamin D production, as the raw material originates from an existing circular system. This provides a key advantage over vegan vitamin D sourced from algae or lichen, which are grown exclusively for vitamin D production. Unlike resource-intensive algae cultivation, production from pine oil requires neither controlled bioreactors nor artificial lighting or heating systems. Our vegan vitamin D from pine oil can therefore be produced more cost-effectively and with significantly lower energy and raw material consumption.
All-trans Vitamin K2
Vitamin K2 exists in various molecular forms, which are referred to as MK-4 and MK-7 depending on the length of their side chains. MK-7 is considered the most effective form of vitamin K2, as it remains active in the body for an exceptionally long time and meets the functional K2 requirement even at low dosages. However, there are further variants within the MK-7 form. Only the trans form has full biological effectiveness. An active ingredient declared as "all-trans" must therefore consist of at least 98% vitamin K2 MK-7 in this effective trans form.
Special caution is required in the area of vitamin K2. Despite manufacturers' claims, widespread label fraud occurs here. Independent laboratory tests show that many supplements declared as "all-trans K2" often contain only small amounts of all-trans vitamin K2.
Our original Sunquinone® K2 is a premium branded active ingredient, delivering an exceptionally high MK7 all-trans content of approximately 99.8%. This consistently high degree of purity is verified through comprehensive independent laboratory testing.
Absolute Purity: No Hidden Additives
Our branded active ingredients Sunferol® D3 and Sunquinone® K2 are specially manufactured for Sunday Natural – made from natural raw materials and with particular emphasis on purity and quality. For optimal intake and maximum stability, we suspend our premium D3 + K2 in MCT coconut oil. Conventional vitamin D3 + K2 active ingredients are often mixed with a whole range of questionable additives, including synthetic vitamin E, ascorbyl palmitate, silicon dioxide, modified starch, sucrose, denatured vegetable oils and maltodextrin. However, our active ingredients are specially manufactured according to our specifications, thereby avoiding such hidden additives. The purity of this raw material means only a small amount of bioactive vitamin E needs to be added as an antioxidant to ensure optimal stability and shelf life. To maintain the excellent quality of our products, they are regularly tested in an independent laboratory for active ingredient content, freshness and possible contaminants such as heavy metals.
MCT Coconut Oil for Optimal Absorption & Protection
Vitamins D and K2 are fat-soluble vitamins that can only be absorbed by the body when combined with fats. For this reason, Sunday Natural's vitamin D3 + K2 uses high-quality MCT oil as a carrier oil. In contrast to other carrier oils (such as olive oil), pure MCT oil offers optimal protection for fat-soluble vitamins, thus ensuring maximum stability of the active ingredients. The medium-chain fatty acids in the carrier oil constitute valuable nutrients themselves. Our oil, which is processed in the Netherlands, is grown without the use of synthetic plant protection products.

Oils are easy to use and are therefore suitable for those who have difficulty swallowing capsules and tablets. They also offer the advantage of direct absorption through the oral mucosa, making them immediately bioactive. Our oil-based sprays come in amber glass bottles with a spray nozzle for convenient and precise dosing.
