Finest Origin - Highest Grade

This certified organic essential oil is sourced from tea trees in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. The small-scale farm is run by a passionate producer who specialises entirely in the sustainable cultivation of tea trees.

Growing in their native habitat, the trees benefit from the region's specific climatic conditions, which result in a characteristic profile of active ingredients. This profile is defined by a balanced ratio of terpinen-4-ol and ɣ-terpinene.

The harvest takes place during the winter months (May–June), when the branches and leaves are collected using specialised techniques and processed immediately on the farm via steam distillation. Following distillation, the oil undergoes a resting phase of several weeks. This controlled maturation process ensures the final product reaches its full potential and the volatile compounds are stabilised.

Farm

Our partner has been cultivating native plants from Australia and New Zealand for 25 years. The company produces and supplies sustainable, fully traceable essential oils, hydrosols and botanical products. The plant-based raw materials come from both their own farm and selected small farms and long-standing partners. Based on the principles of regenerative agriculture and the promotion of fair working conditions, our producer meets the highest ecological and social standards.

Tea Tree

The tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) belongs to the myrtle family (Myrtaceae) and grows endemically in Australia, mostly on the northeast coast of Queensland and New South Wales. The tea tree is an evergreen shrub or small tree with a growth height of up to 7m. The leaves are narrow, lanceolate and alternate. In spring, it bears yellowish white inflorescences. Traditionally, the tea tree has been used by the Australian Aboriginal peoples in a variety of manners; for example, the paper-like bark served as building material for shelters or as material for the preparation of fish or meat.

Aroma

The fresh, spicy aroma has a clarifying and invigorating effect.
