Sleep Complex Ultra is a harmoniously balanced complex with melatonin to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep with vitamins B6 and B12 and vitamin D for normal muscle function. Our direct and long-release melatonin combines an immediate-acting form of the sleep hormone for a shortened sleep time with long-release melatonin, which releases the active ingredient continuously over 8 hours. A total of 19 selected, harmonised bioactives, plant extracts, essential oils, amino acids, vitamins and minerals complement each other in the overall complex.

This uniquely harmonious complex is more than just an ordinary multi-nutrient complex. Almost all individual ingredients come from purely natural sources and where these are not available, we use nature-identical, bioactive speciality raw materials from fermentation and in high-purity quality. This clearly sets the formula apart from other multi-nutrient supplements, which consist of ready-made mixtures of synthetic individual ingredients and also contain additives such as artificial preservatives, sweeteners and fillers.

The special combination of instant melatonin plus a long-release formula has been specifically formulated to mimic the natural 8-hour sleep cycle. The immediately available melatonin is used to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep, followed by a continuous release of melatonin for the following 8 hours. The special release profile ensures that the correct dosage of melatonin is achieved without feeling drowsy the next morning. Our pure melatonin (99% purity) comes from European production. Our new melatonin ingredient is specially produced just for us without silicon dioxide, which is often contaminated with nanoparticles; instead, a natural, silicon-rich bamboo extract is used.

The carefully selected and complementary plant extracts and special essential oils in powder form from Baikal skullcap root, ashwagandha, hops blossom, lemon balm, passion flower and lavender blossom are produced without the use of chemical solvents such as N-hexane or acetone. Only water and/or food-grade ethanol or gentle CO2 extraction are used to extract the valuable phytochemicals. The plants come exclusively from pesticide-free cultivation. For ashwagandha we use the pure root extract KSM-66® Royal with the world's highest content of withanolides and the natural full spectrum of withanolides in the roots. L-theanine comes from a very pure special extraction process from green tea (Camellia sinensis) and a special purification process to avoid residues. The extract of lemon balm is obtained exclusively from the leaves using a patented extraction process and standardised to at least 15% hydroxycinnamic acid and 7–12% rosmarinic acid.

The amino acids glycine, taurine and GABA are highly bioavailable, non-GMO and additive-free.

Vitamins B6 and B9 are contained in their bioactive form: vitamin B6 as bioactive pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP), vitamin B9 as bioactive L-methylfolate (Magnafolate®Pro) and vitamin B12 as highly bioavailable methylcobalamin. Our vegan vitamin D3, magnesium oxide for continuous absorption and directly bioavailable, inorganic sodium selenite round off the nutrient composition.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
