How are we different?

Siberian ginseng, a member of the Araliaceae family, is native to eastern Siberia, as well as China, Korea and Japan. While Panax ginseng is rich in ginsenosides, Siberian ginseng contains a high amount of the bioactive eleutherosides B and E. As many counterfeits exist on the market, the European Pharmacopoeia has stipulated that Siberian ginseng must contain a minimum of 0.08% B and E eleutherosides. In order to preserve the nutrients in our product, we use an ultra-pure, gentle extraction process without chemical solvents, which results in 1.8% B and E eleutherosides.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Effects

Siberian ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus or Hedera senticosa), also known as devil's bush, has a long tradition in China as a means of balancing yin and yang. While the leaves of the plant can be prepared as a tea, the root is rich in eleutherosides.

The eleutherosides in Siberian ginseng are varied in their classification: the eleutherosides B4 (sesamin) and E (liriodendrin) are both lignans, while eleutheroside B and C are glycosides, B1 a coumarin and A a sterol. The eleutherosides I through M are triterpene saponins. Our Eleutherococcus root extract has a standardised content of 1.8% of eleutherosides B and E.

Recommended Dosage

Take 1 capsule with 200ml water daily.
