Our sencha starter set includes organic sencha from Kirishima, Japan as well as a high-quality, dishwasher-safe stainless steel tea strainer.
Premium Organic Sencha Kirishima
A mountain sencha with a well-rounded flavour from the choice terroir of Makizono in Kirishima. The high elevation in the idyllic Kirishima Mountains lends this tea a pleasant flavour that is full of character, yet sweet and mild. The leaves of the southern cultivars in this blend yield a full-bodied taste as a result of the superb growing conditions of the terroir as well as the brief steaming of the leaves themselves.

Stainless steel tea strainer with special fine pore size for high quality tea. With double handle for glass and pot, Ø6cm x 7.2cm (h).
Yoshi en Infuser Basket Double Handle
This infuser basket is made of fine mesh stainless steel and has two handles for brewing loose leaf tea or herbal infusions in a glass, mug or teapot. It comes with a lid that can also act as a saucer for the basket after steeping.

Premium organic sencha from Kagoshima Prefecture in southern Japan. The tea fields are at 670m elevation in the prime terroir of Makizono in the Kirishima Mountains.
