Origin: Pakistan, from the pure waters of the Indian Ocean
Grain Size: Large Flakes (2–12mm) – Delicate, hollow, hand-scooped pyramids
Appearance: A natural work of art. Delicate, often greyish-white, pyramid-shaped crystals
Production: A masterpiece of the salt makers: Pure seawater is concentrated into a brine in basins by sun and wind. At perfect saturation, these unique, hollow pyramids 'grow' on the surface. Similar to Fleur de Sel, they are carefully skimmed off by hand before they sink, and subsequently gently sun-dried.
Distinctions: The crunchy structure offers an absolute taste experience. The delicate, thin-walled pyramids are soft yet 'crunchy', breaking gently in the mouth. They positively melt on the tongue, delivering an immediate, distinct salt kick.
Composition: 100% natural sea salt (in Fleur de Sel Quality). Non-Iodised, vegan, no anti-caking agents.
Packaging: We use environmentally friendly clear glass instead of plastic.
Character: Exquisite, pleasantly mild and pure. It delivers a clear, elegant salt flavour that instantly refines dishes without ever overpowering them.
Pairings: The ultimate finishing salt for that table-side "wow effect". Perfect as a final 'crunch' on steaks, fish fillets, carpaccio, pasta, salads, or simply on bread and butter. (Tip: Due to its low residual moisture, it is also suitable for salt mills)
