Iodine does not occur as an isolated active ingredient but is always bound to a binding partner. For our tablets, we use highly bioavailable potassium iodide. The active ingredient is of pharmaceutical grade, with a purity of over 99%.
For our potassium iodide tablets, the only other ingredient we use is the pure, natural filler premium acacia fibre from cultivation without plant protection products. The tablets are compressed entirely without any pressing aids, such as the commonly used magnesium stearate. In contrast to the usual synthetic fillers like microcrystalline cellulose, which often contain nanoparticles, we use acacia fibre—a natural, fibre-rich food—as a filler. Our acacia fibre comes from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-efficient and fair cultivation. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.
This product has been tested free from selected doping substances within the scope of the Cologne List®. The Cologne List® is a doping prevention initiative which publishes products which have been independently tested for selected doping substances by a world-class laboratory in food supplement analysis. As a partner of the Cologne List®, we ensure greater transparency in a very heterogeneous market and support athletes, teams, clubs and associations in the assessment of these products.
