How are we different?
Our Grains of Paradise Extract combines the branded raw material Vanizem™ with bioactive Vitamin B12 to support the nervous system and psyche, and to contribute to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Vanizem™ is a patented, plant-based extract from the seeds of Aframomum melegueta, known as grains of paradise. The plant comes from natural cultivation without the use of artificial fertilisers or plant protection products. The standardised extract is obtained through a gentle extraction with pure water and food-grade alcohol. No other solvents are used, so the natural purity of the high-quality raw material is fully preserved. A highly concentrated powder is obtained through gentle spray-drying of the standardised extract. This is enriched with high-quality Vitamin B12 as directly bioactive methylcobalamin. Methylcobalamin is one of the two natural, bioactive coenzymes of Vitamin B12 and can be directly utilised by the body without conversion.
As the only other ingredient, we use premium gum arabic as a pure, natural filler, sourced from cultivation without the use of plant protection products. In contrast to commonly used synthetic fillers like microcrystalline cellulose (which can contain nanoparticles), we use a natural, fibre-rich food as our filler. Our gum arabic is sourced from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-conserving and fair cultivation.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG.
