Our high-quality, organic propolis extract is obtained through Multi Dynamic Extraction (M.E.D.®), a patented water-ethanol extraction process. The result is an extract rich in bioactives, with over 12% active polyphenol content. Unlike pure ethanol extraction, this extraction method retains a significant portion of intact, active polyphenols, while eliminating inactive resins. The broad spectrum of polyphenols is also determined to a large extent by the species richness of the plants used by the bees.By using propolis varieties produced in Asia, Europe and South America, our extract includes a particularly broad spectrum of polyphenols.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product using environmentally-friendly amber glass jars.
Propolis is a natural product that bees produce from the resin of certain plants and use as a sealant to close up gaps in the beehive. Propolis also possesses antiseptic properties that can help keep the beehive clean; there are no known microorganisms that can survive inside a beehive. The term propolis comes from the Greek 'pro', meaning before, and 'polis', meaning city. Beekeepers often refer to this substance as bee glue.
Propolis contains polyphenols that come from flowers, leaves, peels and barks. Plants produce these polyphenols as protection against bacteria, fungi, UV radiation and pests. Our organic propolis extract contains at least 12% polyphenols
Take 1 capsule daily with 200ml water after a meal.
