How are we different?
Our OPC 350 is derived from Spanish grapes (Vitis vinifera L.) and processed directly in Spain by a renowned local manufacturer.
When sourcing our raw materials, we prioritise the highest possible OPC content to deliver an optimal dosage alongside maximum purity. Our grape seed extract, sourced from white Spanish grapes, boasts a pure content of at least 95% oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). Many manufacturers confuse total polyphenols or total proanthocyanidins with the actual OPC content. We have had both values rigorously verified via laboratory analysis.
Unlike other products, our OPC 350 is extracted exclusively using water and food-grade ethanol. This achieves an exceptionally pure and natural OPC concentrate that has never been exposed to common chemical solvents such as n-hexane, methanol or acetone. Our concentrated OPC extract features an exceptionally high extraction ratio of 100:1. Furthermore, our extract is entirely free from carriers like maltodextrin or any other unnecessary additives.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.

OPC
OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins), also known as vitamin P, is a group of substances within the flavonols, consisting of polymers of catechins and epicatechins. Proanthocyanidins are found in a wide variety of fruits and plants, including the seeds and skins of grapes, berries and citrus fruits, and the protective bark layer of trees.
The various proanthocyanidins are classified according to the number of units, for example, as monomers (1 unit) and dimers (2 units). The exact definition of OPC is somewhat vague: depending on the interpretation, only the di- to tetramers, di- to pentamers, di- to hexamers or all proanthocyanidins except the monomers, are classified as OPC.
For a long time, only the dimers, consisting of 2 units, and the trimers, consisting of 3 units, were considered to be bioactive oligomeric proanthocyanidins. However, this is increasingly being called into question, suggesting a complex interaction of all the components (including the polymeric proanthocyanidins such as hexamers and heptamers) of grape seed extract. OPC compounds are found in prominent quantities primarily in pine bark and grape seeds, although the specific individual proanthocyanidins contained within them do differ.
