How are we different?

The patented premium raw material Magtein® consists of magnesium L-threonate, which is a special form of magnesium that is known for its exceptionally high bioavailability and is particularly suitable for supporting the brain and nervous system. In this form, magnesium is bound to the vitamin C metabolite L-threonic acid, which ensures its excellent absorption.

The patented production process begins with vitamin C as the natural starting material. Through a gentle and carefully controlled process, vitamin C is converted into magnesium-L-threonate with the help of magnesium carbonate and activated carbon.

This product has been tested free from selected doping substances within the scope of the Cologne List®. The Cologne List® is a doping prevention initiative which publishes products which have been independently tested for selected doping substances by a world-class laboratory in food supplement analysis. As a partner of the Cologne List®, we ensure greater transparency in a very heterogeneous market and support athletes, teams, clubs and associations in the assessment of these products.

Dosage

Directions

Stir 1 scoop (approx. 2g) into at least 200ml water daily and drink in the morning or evening.

Daily Requirements

The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends a daily intake of 300 to 400mg of magnesium (NRV: 375mg). However, the requirement for magnesium varies from person to person according to their biochemical individuality and can be significantly increased during stressful periods.

Note: To avoid a laxative effect (mild diarrhoea), the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) recommends not exceeding a maximum daily amount of 250mg of magnesium from food supplements. The maximum amount applies to persons from the age of four. For small children under the age of four, no maximum amount can be derived due to a lack of data. The BfR recommends dividing the daily dose into at least two intakes per day, because in most of the studies that served to derive the maximum amount, the magnesium was supplied over two or more servings per day, which presumably increases tolerability.

Contraindications

This product is not intended for children. Not suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and healthy lifestyle.

Storage

Keep out of reach of young children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
