Our Iron 3 + C Rapid Spray contains the organic form of iron bisglycinate and particularly pure sodium L-ascorbate (vitamin C), which are incorporated into a nanoemulsion with a droplet size of 20–100nm. This nanoemulsion is not to be confused with nanoparticles, which consist of assemblies of atoms or molecules. The nanoemulsion used here is similar in structure to liposomes, which also occur naturally in human cells. The special structure and the small droplet size facilitate rapid absorption, which begins in the mouth and continues in the gastrointestinal tract.
Iron bisglycinate can be absorbed particularly well by the body as an organic iron chelate and as a compound of iron with glycine; vitamin C further improves the bioavailability of iron. This optimised combination gives our final product a particularly high bioavailability, maximising the ingredients at a relatively low dosage.
We use vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) as an antioxidant, extracted from non-GMO soybeans in Europe, to preserve the ingredients. The glycerine, which is required to formulate a spray, comes from sunflower and rapeseed oil (not from palm oil). The phospholipids used to produce the nanoemulsion also come from completely plant-based sources: soya lecithin from non-GMO soybeans and sunflower oil.
We use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic for the packaging of this product.
