Our specially formulated homocysteine complex provides the most important nutrients for optimal homocysteine metabolism: vitamins B6, B9 (folate) and B12 in optimal combination with the cofactors betaine and citicoline plus vitamins B2 and B7 (biotin). We only use bioactive forms of vitamins for this.
For vitamin B9 we use the patented premium active ingredient Magnafolate® Pro, which provides highly bioavailable, 99.9% pure L-methylfolate as the directly active coenzyme form with the highest bioavailability. The L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate is bound to calcium salt in a special type C-effective crystal form. The C-crystals provide optimised solubility and absorption of the active folate, while conventional, synthetic folic acid cannot be directly utilised by the body and its conversion to active folate requires additional cofactors and enzymes.
For vitamin B12, we use our MH3A® formula, which provides vitamin B12 as a mixture of all three natural and bioactive forms of B12 in an optimal synergy. This is because all three forms fulfill very different tasks in the body and have different focal points of action. Our MH3A® formula contains all three forms of vitamin B12 in an equal, balanced ratio of five B12 active ingredients and thus provides the ideal foundational supply - because in nature, all three forms of methylcobalamin, hydroxocobalamin and adenosylcobalamin are always found together.
The other vitamins are also contained in their active forms, such as vitamin B6 as PLP (pyridoxal 5'-phosphate) or vitamin B2 as R5P/FMN (riboflavin 5'-phosphate sodium).
For betaine, we use our premium active ingredient TMG betaine, which supplies purely plant-based betaine in natural form and of the highest quality. The sugar beet syrup produced during sugar production is naturally rich in betaine and other amino acids. The name of this amino acid compound is derived from the botanical name of the Beta vulgaris sugar beet. The 100% vegan raw material is obtained in the EU using a complex extraction process.
We use a pure citicoline with a choline content of 18%. The raw material does not contain any animal ingredients. Citicoline is a form of choline that occurs naturally in the body.
The only other ingredient we use is premium gum arabic grown without pesticides as a purely natural filler. In contrast to the usual synthetic filler microcrystalline cellulose with nanoparticles, we use a natural, fibre-rich food as a filler. Our gum arabic comes from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-conserving and fair cultivation.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
