How are we different?
Flora Skin Clear is a symbiotic blend containing the specially selected, patented bacterial strain L. rhamnosus SP1 as well as vitamin C, biotin and zinc, which are specially tailored to the needs of blemished skin and support a fresh, clear complexion. Each capsule contains 3 billion CFUs (colony-forming units) and thus 3 billion living and reproducing bacteria
When selecting our raw materials, we intentionally choose highly active bacterial strains: these are produced under strict quality controls using modern fermentation processes that do not come into contact with genetically modified organisms, which are often cultivated for cost reasons. Gentle freeze-drying helps to guarantee a high level of bacterial activity.
The blend is supplemented with D-biotin, which contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, and zinc-L-ascorbate, which is a source of vitamin C and zinc. Vitamin C contributes to the normal maintenance of the skin; vitamin C and zinc contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal function of the immune system.
We deliberately combine intestinal bacteria with dietary fibre to serve as a natural food source for the bacteria; for this we have chosen gum arabic. We use patented, gastric acid-resistant HPMC capsules (DR® Caps) as capsule shells.
