How are we different?
Flora Beautiful Ageing contains a high-quality blend of the 3 specially selected, patented bacterial strains Lactobacillus plantarum Rosell®-1012, Lactobacillus paracasei Lafti® L26 and Bifidobacterium animalis SSP. Lafti® B94, which are specially tailored to the needs of ageing skin. Each capsule contains 12 billion CFU (colony-forming units) and thus 12 billion living and reproducing bacteria.
When selecting our raw materials, we intentionally choose highly active bacterial strains: these are produced under strict quality controls using modern fermentation processes that do not come into contact with genetically modified organisms, which are often cultivated for cost reasons. Gentle freeze-drying helps to guarantee a high level of bacterial activity, which is also supported by the manufacturer's innovative and patented GUARD TECHNOLOGY - NutraJIT® (GUt Acid Resistant Delivery). The vegan pea protein protects the bacteria from stomach acid.
The blend is supplemented with D-biotin, which contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, and zinc-L-ascorbate, which is a source of vitamin C and zinc. Vitamin C contributes to the normal maintenance of the skin; vitamin C and zinc contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal function of the immune system. The mixture is also supplemented with niacin (vitamin B3) as nicotinamide for the maintenance of normal skin.
We use patented, gastric acid-resistant HPMC capsules (DR® Caps) as capsule shells. We use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic for the packaging.
