Our common smoke tree wood (Cotinus coggygria) extract comes in 300mg capsules (with 150mg fisetin, corresponding to 50%) and is derived via pure water extraction, no additional solvents. Encapsulated in PEG- and carrageenan-free HPMC capsule shells. Vegan. 2x60 capsules
Our fisetin extract is obtained from the wood of the common smoke tree (Cotinus coggygria) and is standardised to contain 50% fisetin. Each capsule contains a full 300mg extract with 150mg fisetin.
We particularly value pure production of our extracts: we use water to gently extract the raw material, completely avoiding the use of other solvents.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG.
The common smoke tree (Cotinus coggygria) is a deciduous tree from the sumac family (Anacardiaceae) that originates from southern Europe and Asia. It is known for its decorative, feathery fruit clusters, which are its namesake.
The wood of the smoke tree has been valued for centuries, especially in the Mediterranean region, for its valuable compounds. One of these compounds is fisetin, a secondary phytonutrient that belongs to the group of polyphenols and flavonoids.
Take 1 capsule daily with 200ml water with a meal.
