How are we different?

A highly pure 50:1 water-ethanol extraction process provides the basis for our high-quality fermented astragalus. It is particularly important to us that only food-grade ethanol is used. During the carefully controlled triple fermentation process, which lasts three months, new, beneficial compounds are created, enriched, stabilised or transformed. This leads to a standardised content of 0.2% cycloastragenol and calycosine, two beneficial paraprobiotics and important polysaccharides. Our astragalus extract is also highly bioavailable.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Astragalus

Originating from northern China and Mongolia, astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus), also known as tragacanth, is one of the most important plants in Chinese traditional medicine and has been used there for thousands of years. With its multicoloured flowers, the herbaceous plant belongs to the subfamily of papilionaceous plants. Due to its yellowish roots, the plant is also called "huáng qí" or "yellow life energy" in China.

Directions

Take 1 capsule daily (200mg fermented astragalus extract per capsule) with 200ml water.
