Essentials Plus

Calm Essentials Plus is a unique bioactive complex containing 17 precursors and cofactors for serotonin, melatonin and neurotransmitter synthesis, in the form of plant extracts, amino acids and vitamins, to support energy metabolism and the inner balance of the nervous system, psyche and mind.

This unique formula offers more than the average multi-nutrient complex. Our first priority is to ensure every single ingredient is naturally sourced. Where this is not possible, we use a pure pharmaceutical-grade alternative or a natural fermentation process to obtain a bioidentical compound. Other multi-nutrient complexes often contain cheap, ready-made mixtures of synthetic substances and questionable additives such as artificial preservatives, sweeteners and fillers.

The carefully selected plant extracts and powdered essential oils of Rhodiola rosea, lemon balm, hemp seed, saffron, lavender, cypress, bay leaf, camomile, marjoram, clary sage and lemon peel are derived using only water and/or food grade ethanol or a gentle CO2 extraction process. The plants' valuable phytochemicals are therefore extracted without the use of chemical solvents such as N-hexane or acetone. The Rhodiola rosea extract is obtained from the root of wildcrafted plants grown in the Altai Mountains in Siberia, where the natural environment allows the plants to develop particularly high amounts of valuable nutrients and phytochemicals. Our hemp seed extract contains 20% natural C'B'D and the full phytochemical spectrum, allowing for the synergistic entourage effect. The lemon balm extract is obtained exclusively from the nutrient-rich leaves via a patented extraction process and standardised to at least 15% hydroxycinnamic acid and 7-12% rosmarinic acid. All plants are either wildcrafted or sourced from pesticide-free cultivation.

The amino acids glycine, taurine and GABA are all highly bioavailable and pharmaceutical grade or naturally sourced and non-GMO. The L-theanine is extracted from green tea (Camellia sinensis) via a pure extraction process. No additives are incorporated into any of the ingredients in this product.

Vitamins B1 and B5 are in a pure pharmaceutical-grade, optimally bioavailable form: vitamin B1 as thiamine hydrochloride, the most potent form, and vitamin B5 as calcium-D-panthotenate, a premium active ingredient and stable form of vitamin B5. The pantothenic acid is bound to calcium and is not released until it reaches the stomach, where it is absorbed by the body while still intact.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
