Origin: Bolivia, from the high plains of the Andes, on the ancient trails of the Incas.
Grain Size: Medium (2–4mm) – ideal crystals for the grinder, beautifully revealing their colour when ground.
Appearance: Soft pink, reminiscent of light rose quartz. This distinctive colour comes from a natural iron content.
Production: A treasure millions of years old. Deep in the Andes, protected by a thick layer of volcanic rock, this salt rested far from any environmental influences. It is hand-selected by miners and traditionally transported from the highlands along the ancient caravan routes of the Incas.
Distinctions: Sealed by volcanoes and naturally enriched with traces of colour-giving iron, as well as calcium, potassium and magnesium. This mineral balance makes it not only valuable but also exceptionally well-rounded in taste.
Composition: 100% pure, unrefined rock salt. Naturally vegan, non-iodised and free from any additives.
Packaging: We use light-protected and environmentally friendly clear glass instead of plastic.
Character: Extremely mild, balanced and almost subtly sweet. It has a very fine salty note without any sharpness and a gentle mineral depth that caresses the palate.
Pairings: The perfect table salt (from the grinder) for fine cuisine. It harmonises wonderfully with light meats (poultry, veal), fish, seafood and ceviche. Enhances mild vegetables, salads and is a dream with avocado or tomato mozzarella.
