How are we different?
Our gummy bears comprise apple cider vinegar with the vinegar "mother" as well as selected B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B7, B12), iodine and phytochemicals such as lion's mane, beetroot and pomegranate. They have a fruity pomegranate flavour and are based on fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), which are obtained from the natural inulin of the chicory root. FOS belong to the group of dietary fibres. As our gummies contain FOS instead of sugar, they cause a lower rise in blood sugar levels after consumption than conventionally sweetened gummy bears. The production of vitamin gummies usually involves the use of artificial sweeteners or sugar substitutes; our gummies are not only produced without added sugar, but are also completely free of these sweeteners.
The production of gummies requires gelling agents to ensure sufficient firmness and glazing agents to prevent the gummies from sticking together. We use completely plant-based gelling agents and avoid animal gelatine, which is often obtained from low-quality slaughterhouse waste. The gelling and stabilising agents we use are obtained from lemon peel (pectin), red algae (agar) and the root tubers of the cassava plant (tapioca starch). We use plant-based carnauba wax as a glazing agent, making our vitamin gummies 100% vegan. For acidity regulation, cheap citric acid is often used, as well as controversial phosphate compounds such as tricalcium phosphate. Malic acid and citrate compounds such as sodium citrate are better alternatives, which are used in our gummies.

Vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
