AAKG (arginine alpha-ketoglutarate) is a special form of the semi-essential, proteinogenic amino acid L-arginine in combination with alpha-ketoglutarate. This combination in the optimum ratio of 2:1 enables particularly effective availability. Our AAKG is a flexibly dosed powder that is ideal for athletes and those exercising to create individual pre-workout mixtures. For the best possible support, we recommend taking it 30 minutes before training on training days and before going to bed on non-training days.
The L-arginine and alpha-ketoglutarate in this powder originate 100% from non-GMO fermentation of completely plant-based raw materials. Only starch and glucose are used as the nutritional basis for the microorganisms used for fermentation. These substances then undergo a natural reaction in which two arginine molecules bind to an alpha-ketoglutarate molecule, resulting in a vegan raw material of the highest quality with a purity of at least 98%. Our AAKG powder is vegan, gluten-free, soya-free and contains no additives of any kind.
