AAKG (arginine alpha-ketoglutarate) is a special form of the amino acid L-arginine. The production of our vegan L-arginine does not involve the use of any animal products, including gelatine, hair and feathers. Instead, this amino acid is obtained via fermenting non-GMO sugar cane. This sustainable, plant-based raw material serves as the basis for the microorganisms used in the fermentation process.
Our elaborate manufacturing process results in a high-quality, completely vegan raw material with a purity level of at least 99.7% – no additives.
We use particularly high-quality, airtight and resealable bags with 7 protective layers featuring an aroma barrier to provide the best possible protection against moisture, oxidation and contamination.
