Finest Origin - Highest Grade

These eucalyptus trees grow wild from sea level in the unspoiled nature of Corsica, France. The Mediterranean climatic conditions and mineral soils are ideal for the growth of eucalyptus. The trees can thus fully develop their fine essential aromas, such as 1,8-cineole and alpha-pinene. The leaves are gently harvested, collected and processed in our own distillery with steam

Farm

This essential oil is produced by a small family business in France that specialises in wildcrafting indigenous plants. Their passion for distilling wild plants began around 1990. At the time, they produced their assortment of high-quality essential oils at their small distillery, but by 2003 they were able to move into a much larger distillery where they conduct gentle steam distillation. The wild plants, some of them harvested at very high altitudes and some at sea level, are all collected by hand by the passionate staff. Any missing oils are sourced from partners whose origin and standards are also well documented. All their essential oils and other natural products are certified organic to EU standards.

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus belongs to the myrtle family (Myrtaceae) and is native to Australia and Asia. This eucalyptus, commonly known as lemon-scented gum, grows in the unspoiled nature of Madagascar and has smooth bark which peels off in bands. Old eucalyptus trees may have needle or sickle-shaped green leaves which grow up to 30cm in length. The eucalyptus blooms single white and beige-coloured flowers in the spring and summer.

Aroma

The mild, slightly sweet aroma of eucalyptus cleanses the air and facilitates deep breathing. The slight menthol note has a gently warming, cleansing and balancing effect.
