These myrtle trees grow according to controlled organic standards in the middle of the desert nature of Morocco. This special climate with extreme dryness, fresh breezes as well as cold nights, let the plants thrive excellently. This allows them to develop their ingredients and aromas in a harmonious ratio, such as 1,8-cineole, alpha-pinene and myrtenyl acetate. At the right time of harvest, leaves and inflorescences are harvested by the experienced farmers, sorted and gently distilled with steam in the local own distillery.

Farm
We obtain this essential oil from a renowned and certified producer in the Provençal countryside Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in France. The company was founded around 1900 and has worldwide cooperation partners, small to large farms with essential oil plants, where according to quality standards is produced professionally and passionately. The origin and quality of the plants are therefore very well documented. The essential oils are extracted on site either by gentle steam distillation in a stainless steel tank or by cold pressing. The first certified organic products date back to 2001.
