These Manuka plants are sustainably cultivated near the coast of South West Western Australia. The Mediterranean climate of this coastal region gives the plants the perfect growing conditions to develop their special natural components, aromas such as unsaturated bicyclic sesquiterpenes (e.g. alpha- and beta-selinene, trans-calamene) and terpenes (e.g. beta-caryophyllene). The manufacturer is very committed to the sustainable cultivation of its family business, which specializes in native plants, and the production of high-quality essential oils from these plants. The essential oil is extracted gently with steam in our own distillation plant immediately after harvesting.

Finest Origin - Highest Grade
Farm
We source this essential oil from a small family business located in south-west Australia. Founded in 1997, the company specialises in the cultivation of indigenous aromatic plants and the production of essential oils from these plants using controlled and sustainable farming methods. The origin and quality of the plants and the extraction of the essential oils are very well documented. The high-quality essential oil is extracted directly after harvesting on the farm in compliance with very high quality standards by gentle, saturated steam distillation.
Manuka
Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium) belongs to the myrtle family (Myrtaceae) and grows endemically in south-eastern Australia and New Zealand. The evergreen shrubby or arboreal plant normally grows 2 - 5 metres tall, but can grow into small trees with a height of 15 metres. The fragrant flowers consist of 5 round delicate white, pink or reddish petals. The aromatic ovate or lanceolate leaves are 4-12mm long.
Aroma
The intensely honey-sweet manuka aroma has a stabilising and balancing effect on the mind and is therefore exceptionally beneficial in cases of stress, exhaustion and excessive demands. Its strong harmonising properties are based on the balanced yin-yang energies of the aroma and strengthen the flow of chi in the body. The aroma is a balm for tense nerves and supports emotional and mental shock states.
