How are we different?
Our premium pomegranate extract is obtained exclusively from high-grade Indian pomegranates. The fruits are cultivated naturally to the highest standards, allowing the fruits to develop a particularly high and rich phytochemical profile. The extraction is carried out with pure water only; no additional solvents or extracting agents such as n-hexane, methanol or acetone are involved. Due to the high plant substance content of the fruits, our extract contains 40% punicalagin. For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

The pomegranate (Punica granatum) is considered a symbol of life and fertility. It contains a range of beneficial secondary substances, of which one of the most important – and most widely researched – is punicalagin, a tannin found in the peel and membranes of the fruit. Punicalagin is a compound comprising ellagic acid (an antioxidative polyphenol) and various other tannins. Punicalagin is highly water-soluble.
