Other Awards: Frantoio Franci is one of the smaller top farms in Italy. For years, it has received the most important awards as a farm or for its oils, and is consistently listed among the 20 best farms in Flos Olei.
Taste: aromatic and fruity, lush and strong, with black pepper, cinnamon and unripe almonds, the noble bitterness is pronounced, and the piquant spiciness is just right.
Aroma: full and round with notes of artichoke, chicory, lettuce, mint, rosemary and sage
Colour: golden yellow with a green sheen
Food: Spelt salads, cooked vegetables, marinated sea bream, fried potatoes, chanterelle soup, pasta with salmon, mussels au gratin, fried squid, baked poultry or lamb, goat's cheese.
