The ylang ylang trees are grown organically on the tropical islands of the Comoros. The oceanic climate, with its strong winds, tropical temperatures and abundance of minerals offers optimal growing conditions for the trees. As a result, they are able to fully develop a harmonious ratio of aromas, including beta-caryophyllene and germacrene.
The blossoms are gently hand-harvested by the farmers throughout the year and, within max. 20 hours, carefully processed via steam distillation. Our ylang ylang essential oil is from the 3rd fraction, which is extracted within the first six to 12 hours of distillation and contains the finest floral aromas. The producer's experience and passion are reflected by the fine aromas of this essential oil.
