The wild woolly lavender, also known as silverleaf lavender, thrives in its native environment in the untouched nature of the Sierra de los Filabres, Andalusia, in Spain. The elevation of 1200m, the stony soils, the strong sun and the occasionally cold nights provide the ideal growing conditions for the plant to develop its unique components and aromas. The flower buds are gently hand-harvested by our passionate, nature-loving suppliers at 1200m above sea level. They are then processed at the on-site distillery.

Finest Origin - Highest Grade
Farm
This family-run small business based in Andalusia, Spain, was founded around 2004 and specialises in native plants used for essential oils. The business harvests plants which have been organically cultivated on their own farm in Andalusia, as well as those which are wild-growing at elevations of up to 1200m. Following harvest, selected plants are gently processed in our own steam distillation plant to produce the essential oils. Our producer's products are certified with the EU organic seal.
Woolly Lavender
Woolly lavender, also known as silverleaf lavender, owes its name to the fine hairs on its leaves, which look like wool and also appear silvery when exposed to light. It belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is mainly found at mountainous altitudes of 1000m and above, in southern Spain. It grows up to 70cm high in the form of a shrub and produces silver-coloured, slightly hairy leaves up to 5cm long. In July to September, it produces fine, dark purple flowers.
Aroma
The smooth floral sweetness of woolly lavender oil brings calm and focus to allow clarity.
