Developed in collaboration with Dr. Johannes Richter, our Thyro Balance is a harmoniously balanced multinutrient with iodine and selenium to support optimal thyroid function. The comprehensive combination of 13 selected nutrients combines iodine and selenium – the central building blocks of thyroid hormone production – with a natural blend of secondary phytochemicals from herbs, roots and mushrooms. It contains pure extracts of Rhodiola rosea, ashwagandha and schisandra as well as natural Chinese yam powder. The complex is harmoniously rounded off by 4 high-quality functional mushroom extracts from cordyceps, reishi, agaricus and lion's mane. Each of these plant-based ingredients offers a natural variety of secondary phytochemicals, essential oils, vitamins and trace elements.
This unique formulation is more than an ordinary multinutrient complex – almost all the individual ingredients come from completely natural sources; where these are not available, we use nature-identical, bioactive special active ingredients produced by fermentation or in the purest quality. Thyro Balance contains:
The amino acid L-tyrosine produced by non-GMO fermentation instead of synthetically produced L-tyrosine; iodine as high-quality potassium iodide; and selenium as optimally available sodium selenite.
Vitamin A as vegan, pharmaceutical-grade retinyl palmitate. Plant-based foods do not contain directly bioactive vitamin A, only the precursor beta-carotene, which must first be converted into vitamin A by the body. This conversion is very inefficient for many people, which can lead to a vitamin A deficiency. Our retinyl palmitate is a highly pure, pharmaceutical-grade active ingredient that can be easily converted into directly bioactive vitamin A by anybody.
Pure extracts from cordyceps, reishi, agaricus and lion's mane derived with water and ethanol contain 30% polysaccharides. They come from the top cultivation region for functional mushrooms in Gutian County (600–700m above sea level), Fujian, in a naturally idyllic location surrounded by forested mountains. All plant extracts are derived via pure water-ethanol extraction without contamination with toxic extraction agents such as methanol, N-hexane or acetone.
Our Rhodiola rosea (rose root) has been wildcrafted in the untouched nature of the Altai Mountains in Siberia with the full range of valuable phytochemicals.
The premium ashwagandha extract KSM-66® contains all the components of the root in a natural ratio and is the most concentrated full-spectrum withanolide extract in the world with the highest bioavailability.
Our schisandra extract (Chinese magnolia vine) comes from China, the plant's native region.
The Chinese yam powder is obtained from the whole root tubers of exclusively male Dioscorea batata plants, grown on quartz-rich sandy soil in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
