This sage is organically grown at an elevation of 500-800 metres in Andalusia, Spain, by experienced farmers and then processed. In this Mediterranean region with strong sunlight, winds and seasonal cold, the sage can develop its concentrated aromas and natural ingredients, such as alpha-thujone, camphor and 1.8-cineole, to their full potential. After harvesting, the fresh herb is processed directly in the distillery using gentle steam. The intense aromas are reflected in a harmonious balance in the essential oil.
