Finest Origin - Highest Grade

Wild juniper shrubs benefit from optimal growing conditions in the natural region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, in France. At altitudes of 1,000-1,300m, they are sometimes exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations, as well as winds and drought. The soils there also offer excellent conditions for the formation of valuable active ingredients such as α-pinene, sabinene and terpinenes. Wild harvesting by hand takes place between October and March in the high altitudes. The fresh, young twigs and berries are collected and gently processed via steam distillation in our own distillery.

Farm

The manufacturer of this essential oil is a family-run company based in France, which was founded around 1990. It specialises in the certified organic cultivation of indigenous aromatic plants, and has global cooperatives. The aromas of the plants, obtained either via steam distillation or cold pressing, is highly regarded in the perfume industry. The producer's many years of experience in organic cultivation as well as a passion for production are reflected in the harmoniously balanced essential oils. Their products are certified with the EU organic seal.

Juniper

About 50 to 60 species of the genus Juniperus are known. They belong to the cypress family (Cupressaceae). This juniper grows spreading as a shrub or as a small ovoid or columnar tree. It has sharply pointed and deep, dark green to blue-green needles. The fruits range in shade from blue to black. This type of juniper is mainly found in the Northern Hemisphere, in countries such as France, Macedonia and Italy.

Aroma

The citrusy, fresh aroma invigorates the body and promotes optimism and confidence.
