The wild cade thrives in the untouched nature of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain at 900m above sea level, where the fresh, dry air and Mediterranean climate offer optimal growing conditions for the native plant. The winds and high daily temperature fluctuations between night and day allow for the development of important compounds and aromas within the cade. In autumn, the wild plants are harvested by hand and immediately brought to the distillery, where they are gently steamed to produce this natural essential oil.

Farm
The producer of this fine essential oil is a small family-operated business in the region of Castilla–La Mancha in sunny central Spain. The business was founded in 1970 and has produced essential oils from their own local herbs ever since. The region's bracing climate is especially beneficial to the cultivation of their herbs. The oils are gently processed on-site in the business's own distillery. All products are certified organic to EU standards.
