Anhui/Huangshan

Located in the south-eastern part of the country, Anhui Province is famous for the picturesque landscapes around the spectacular Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) massif and offers some of the finest and most renowned green teas in China, including Maofeng and Taiping Houkui. We offer the highest quality teas on the market, sourced directly from farms located on Huangshan and the surrounding region.

Many of China's best teas come from here, including Wuyi rock oolongs, Tieguanyin oolongs and white teas from Fuding and Zhenge. With the Suitong Cha green tea from the Shaowu Mountains, we carry a rare top-class green tea speciality, which is grown in a remote location in a magical rocky landscape in harmony with the surrounding nature.

Hubei/Enshi

The central Chinese province of Hubei is home to the famous Enshi Yulu tea, one of the country's top 10 green teas. China's only steamed green tea has the highest selenium content of all teas and is characteristically spicy, alkaline and mineral in taste. This is due in large part to the unique terroir, with limestone extending over large areas and numerous underground rivers. We offer several qualities of this true tea speciality from one of the most respected tea farms in the entire region at 1100m.

Yunnan

The province of Yunnan, located in the far southwest, is rightly considered the cradle of tea, as the first cultivated tea plants originated in the border region between Yunnan, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. In addition to its world-famous pu-erh teas, the province offers a variety of particularly aromatic tea specialities with Dianhong black teas and Moonlight white teas. Our Maofeng from the highlands of Yunnan reflects the great vitality of the terroir in its fully aromatic and at the same time refreshing citrus notes.

Zhejiang/Longjing & Anji Tea

Zhejiang province is the number one green tea region in China. This is not only due to its high productivity, but also because it is home to the famous Longjing (Dragon Well) green tea, universally loved for its nutty, chestnut-like aroma. It is also the home of the legendary Anji Bai Cha, praised by Emperor Huizong as early as the 12th century as the best tea in the country for its incomparably delicate and fresh aroma.
