Vitality & Balance
Phyto Energy
Harmonious and natural blend of caffeine, from green coffee and guarana, with L-theanine from green tea, ashwagandha, mango leaf extract and Chinese yam.
Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), also known as sleeping berry or Indian ginseng, is native to the arid regions of India. The root, containing withanolides, has been used for over 1,000 years.
Astragalus
Astragalus membranaceus (milkvetch) is one of the 10 most important plants in traditional Chinese medicine and is rich in many valuable phytochemicals. Astragaloside IV, which can only be found in the astragalus root, is the subject of many current scientific studies.
Ginseng
Ginseng has been used in its native regions of China, Korea, Siberia and North America for at least 4,000 years. In addition to genuine red and white Panax ginseng, there are other well-known species, such as Siberian and American ginseng, which each have specialised areas of application due to their individual ingredient profiles.
Guarana
The guarana plant is native to the Amazon Basin and named after the indigenous Guaranì people. Guarana has a long history and is cherished not only for its caffeine, but also polyphenols such as catechins, epicatechins, theobromine, and theophylline. The natural phytochemical complex in guarana resembles that of cacao.
Caffeine
Caffeine is a xanthine alkaloid which occurs naturally in high amounts in the seeds of the coffee bush (coffee beans) as well as in over 60 other plants, including the tea plant, guaraná, the mate bush and the kola nut. We offer 100% plant-based caffeine from natural sources, rather than the ubiquitous synthetic caffeine offered elsewhere on the market. Our caffeine is extracted from unroasted green coffee beans (Coffea arabica) and contains min. 90% caffeine, in addition to many other valuable phytochemicals.
Chinese Yam
About 100 years ago, Rudolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy, described the Chinese yam (Dioscorea batatas) as the only plant that can store light ether in significant quantities. He therefore considered it to be of enormous importance for humans. Offered here is raw Chinese yam powder from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern lake district: hand-harvested, gently dried (38°C), finely ground and bottled without exposure to electrosmog.
Mango Mangiferin
While the beloved mango fruit is known for its high enzyme and vitamin content, the leaves of the mango tree (Mangifera indica) have a high concentration of many special compounds. Perhaps most notable of all is the flavonoid mangiferin, a polyphenol which is also found in the skin and seeds of the mango fruit.
Maca
Premium maca (Lepidium peruvianum) from Junín, a top cultivation region in the Peruvian Andes. Hand-harvested at an altitude of over 4,000m. We carry a wide range of varieties of maca, all 100% natural and sourced directly from the farm. German laboratory tested.
Rhodiola
Premium Rhodiola rosea extract with rosavins and salidrosides in an optimal ratio of 3:1 from Siberian roseroot (from the Altai Mountains). Produced entirely in the EU and free from toxic extraction residues. Vegan, no additives.
Saffron
Saffron, which has had a firm place in the traditional botany of many cultures for hundreds of years, is considered the most aromatic and precious spice in the world. The phytochemical composition of saffron is now well studied — so far the plant has been shown to harbour over 150 different phytochemicals. The most important active compounds are safranal and crocine.
