Genuine Japanese side-handled teapots from Tokoname, home of Tokoname-yaki wares, handmade from natural clay and sourced from leading studios and artists. These Kyusu teapots have an in-built strainer in the spout, made of stainless steel or ceramic, and fired in oxidation and reduction kilns.
Black Tokoname Kyusu
Reduction fired and with a neutral, slightly attenuating character. For all green tea varieties.
Green, Blue & White Tokoname Kyusu
Light reduction firing and with a neutral, slightly intense character. For all green tea varieties.
Red Tokoname Kyusu
Oxidation firing and with an intsense character. For sencha, shincha and tamaryokucha.
