Sunrouge
Green and red sunrouge teas, created by crossing C. taliensis with C. sinensis. These teas contain many rare anthocyanins and catechins, which results in a bright red infusion. Sourced from Yuki Toyumura on the Pacific island of Tokunoshima. Imported directly to us, then laboratory tested.
Red Sunrouge
The rare red sunrouge tea mainly consists of young, shimmering red leaves from the first harvest, resulting in a particularly high content of anthocyanins, particularly delphinidins, and a total catechin content that compares to Yabukita, a standard green tea cultivar.
Sunrouge Green
With Sunrouge Green, there is a high proportion of longer ripened leaves from later harvests. Those have even higher levels of methylated catechins and catechins in general, as well as the special anthocyanins, compared to Sunrouge Red.
Purple Tea
Noble, pesticide-free purple tea. The cultivar, created in Kenya, contains a high concentration of anthocyanins. We offer a strong, anthocyanin-rich classic Kenya Purple and an elegant, mild and subtle Purple White with a creamy white tea character.
