This wire brush, produced in a small manufacturing plant in the EU, is used to clean strainers by removing impurities such resin.

Hold the strainer directly over a candle flame, above the kitchen sink. Resin residue will heat up and liquefy and can be scrubbed off the sieve with the brush.

The process usually has to be repeated a few times in order to achieve a perfectly clean strainer.
