Used to protect and maintain the shape of matcha whisks, a chasen kusenaoshi is the recommended tool to store and dry chasen. Typically made of ceramic or wood, its shape allows for better air circulation when drying the chasen after cleaning, thereby preventing mould and prolonging its life.
