Cream ginger, also known as yellow ginger lily, grows wild in the untouched nature near the sea in Madagascar. The tropical climate on the seaside is optimal for the growth of the plants, allowing them to harmoniously develop their aromas and valuable compounds such as alpha and beta pinene. The leaves are gently hand harvested by experienced farmers at an altitude of 800m, then brought to the local distillery.

This high-quality essential oil is produced by an experienced company based in Madagascar. The company manages its own plantations in Madagascar, but also owns other plantations all over the world. The plants are primarily harvested by hand using sustainable practices, and the essential oils are extracted through gentle steam distillation in a stainless steel tank. The origin and quality of the plants are well documented, and the products are certified by the French organic association Nature et Progrès.

The yellow ginger lily belongs to the ginger family (Zingiberaceae). It can grow up to 2m high, with delicate pale yellow flowers at the top. It is mainly found in Asia but also grows in other tropical countries, such as Madagascar and New Zealand.

Ginger lily has a special, soothing scent which can also be quite motivating and uplifting. The sweet, slightly spicy nuances convey a pleasant feeling of inner strength. In cases of stress and anxiety, it helps to bring a sense of serenity and inner peace to the nerves.
