GABA teas are naturally enriched with GABA, a valuable amino acid, through their unique oxygen-free storage. GABA (γ-aminobutyric acid) is an important non-proteinogenic, endogenous amino acid. GABA teas are appreciated by connoisseurs for their smooth, buttery taste. We source these teas directly from selected top farmers from either pesticide-free or certified organic farms. Since the GABA content can fluctuate with each batch, we test every delivery for GABA content and pollutants in our German laboratory and report accordingly.
GABA Tea 100
Mild tea with 100–200mg GABA/100g: GABA 100 Oita (140mg) from one of Japan's most respected GABA farmers, GABA 100 Chiran (140mg) from pesticide-free cultivation in sunny Chiran, GABA 100 Hirayanagi (130mg) from renowned Temomi master Toshiro Hirayanagi and GABA 100 Makinohara (120mg) from GABA specialist Mr. Yoshita Ota.
GABA Tea 200
Gently steamed Japanese green tea from pesticide-free cultivation with 200–300mg GABA/100g: GABA 200 Chiran (250mg) from pesticide-free cultivation in sunny Chiran and GABA 200 Hirayanagi (240mg) from renowned Temomi master Toshiro Hirayanagi.
